What is broadband?
Your connection will be up and running from the start and you can browse the Internet for free using your USB modem until your Broadband is active. You can call mobile phones from your landline at the same price as a mobile to mobile call using any Vodafone voice call price plan. And, you will receive Vodafone Points to update your mobile at unbeatable prices with our Points Programme.
Vodafone Broadband includes:
* Broadband internet connection through the Huawei HG553 Router.
* Mobile broadband connection (HSDPA) using the USB E172 modem.
* Calls to landlines, depending on the package chosen, Flat Rate or 1 cent/min. rate for calls to national landlines. You will also be able to make other types of calls using Vodafone prices for calling mobile phones. Choose between the Sagem, Nokia 2610 or Jablotron voice box or choose the Vodafone phone that best suits your needs.

Packages
With Vodafone Broadband you can keep your existing landline phone number (or apply for a new one) and make flat rate calls to national landlines from your home (with no additional minimum consumption or subscription charges and no telephone rental charges. All these are already included in your Vodafone Broadband monthly payment plan). For other types of calls the rates for your existing price plan are applied.
- Broadband connection with unlimited connection time and download volume. There are two speeds to choose from: Maximum Speed (up to 12 Mb) and Speed (up to 6 Mb).
- Keep your existing landline phone number or apply for a new one.
- Flat rates on calls to landlines* from your home. For other types of calls the rates for the price plan you choose are applied (any Vodafone voice calls price plan can be used).
- Free use of the HSDPA data line until your Broadband connection is active. Also, free consumption in the event of a technical fault on the line preventing you from using your Broadband service (Broadband Backup), as long as the modem is connected to the Vodafone Broadband Router located at your home. Once your broadband is up and running you can use the USB modem wherever you are for only €2.9 for each day you connect.

What does Vodafone Broadband UNO include?
With Vodafone Broadband UNO you can call from your existing mobile phone at landline prices whenever you are at home. 1 cent/min* (1.16 cents inc. VAT) to any national landline (no subscription or telephone rental charges as both are already included in the Vodafone Broadband price plan). For other types of calls the rates for your existing price plan are applied.- Broadband connection with unlimited connection time and download volume. Vodafone DSL FAQs
The provision process is the period transpired from the time you sign up for Vodafone Broadband to the time the service is up and running. It includes activation of the service, sending the materials, installation of the line if needed....
You can sign up for Vodafone Broadband and once the service is up and running you can cancel your Navega & Habla subscription.
Vodafone Broadband is compatible with any of Vodafone's price plans or savings plans.
After the provision period you don't have to return any of the equipment supplied. Enjoy a complete voice and data service
using any of the services included in the package.
If, due to technical problems, you cannot finalise the provision
period you must return the devices by the same means they were supplied (outlets, telesales, etc.).
Once your broadband is up and running you can use the USB modem wherever you are for only €2.9 for each day you connect.
Once the Broadband has been activated you will receive an SMS notifying you that 10 days after Broadband activation the USB MODEM rate will change. When the change has taken effect you will receive another SMS confirming the change of price plan.
No, when you sign up for Vodafone Broadband you will not get any more invoices from Telefónica. Both the service and the line will be controlled by Vodafone. In any event, you must make sure you have cancelled your service with your previous operator.
Yes, Vodafone Broadband offers you a flat rate connection all day every day of the year with unlimited consumption
Once you have signed the contract Vodafone will undertake, with total transparency, to cancel your existing broadband service as long as you do not have a long-term contract with your current operator. In any event, we recommend you ensure that your existing service has effectively been cancelled.
Your landline will provide the same service as before (your existing operator is still charging you) until you get an SMS indicating the date on which the change of operator will take place. Following the change-over any calls made to your landline number will be received on your Vodafone Broadband phone, which means that Vodafone will be invoicing you. If you needed to install the broadband, once it is active and your landline number has been ported to Vodafone (you will receive an SMS confirming the availability of the service), you must call your previous operator to confirm that the service has been effectively cancelled, and if this is not the case, you will have to cancel the service with your previous operator.
The USB modem included with Vodafone Broadband is free and ALWAYS included in the pack. If you don't use it you will not
be charged for having it.
You can keep your landline number.
If you port your current number you will start receiving calls on your mobile or your desk top phone once the porting process
has been finalised.
If you choose a new Vodafone number you will start to receive calls on your mobile or on your desk
top phone from day one.
Calls made to a mobile are invoiced according to the Vodafone voice line price plan you subscribe to.
If you are not at home to take a call made to your landline number the caller will hear a recorded message saying you are
not available.
All computers now include this port. It is the port you use to connect, for example, the mouse or a memory stick. USB stands for Universal Serial Bus.

You can surf the Internet for FREE from the MOMENT YOU RECEIVE YOUR USB MODEM by connecting it to the router in your home until your broadband connection is up and running.
With Vodafone you can connect to the Internet from both a laptop and a desktop computer.
The Vodafone Internet connection is also compatible with MAC. However, in this case you must download specific software from http://www.vodafone.es. Once you have installed the software you will be able to use your USB MODEM with your MAC.
This service gives you broadband Internet connection and also includes FREE CALLS TO LANDLINES. Thanks to broadband you
will get the FASTEST CONNECTION SPEED in your HOME and using the USB MODEM you will easily be able to connect wherever 3G
coverage is available. If you don't use it, you don't pay for it (except during the provision period, when you can use it
for free)

Although complete installation of the broadband service can take a few weeks (between 4 and 6, depending on the type of installation), you can surf the Internet from the moment you sign up by connecting the USB modem to the Vodafone broadband router.
You can cancel your broadband subscription but still maintain your Vodafone at home service and keep your USB modem to use the mobile internet service.
You can use the USB modem free of charge until your broadband connection is activated. Use of the modem is also free if you are prevented from accessing the broadband service (broadband back-up) due to technical problems, as long as the modem is connected to the Vodafone router installed in your home. Once the broadband is activated you can use the USB modem wherever you are for only €2.9 (€3.36 inc. VAT) for each day you connect.
